X vs. Zero sounds like a Falcom song and I mean that in a very good way (they invented power metal)
would almost certainly like the ending arrange better without the vocals but it's still pretty neat

I've heard better from 9/10. Cybersheep doesn't do much for me. X vs. Zero is suitably epic for a confrontation of this nature. I like when it changes to the chimes or whatever around the 0:50 part.

Wonder Panorama's good for a few seconds but then it's just the same thing over and over. Ending doesn't have a ton going on either, so I can't boost it for that reason, but it does at least have a good melody.

Only gripe I have today is that I wish the ending arrange had a woodwind instead of vocals.

cybersheep's dream has an amazing ethereal-ish sound to it? like not fully but it has a vibe i can't fully explain that i think works in favour of the "dream" part of the song title
x vs zero is passable but i don't really care for it, i like the little guitar flourish before the loop tho, despite how generic it probably is
wonder panorama is beautiful omg i love it i love it omg
okay i just dont really like ending... sorry. it feels too long and i get why it is and i can love a long song but it just feels dragged out

I love Mari Yamaguchi! I didn't even know she composed Sheep Man until this contest. The first match is close, though. X vs. Zero brings out the FL81 in me, if I'm in the right mood! Wonder Panorama is good, but I'm a bit puzzled by how much team prog likes it... There at least two other tracks from MMZX that I like more. Ending from Rockman 3 has that great combination of cool jazz singing and a super emotional theme... I consider MM3 Ending/Protoman's Theme to be the most moving piece of NES music. It's a GREAT day overall, my favorite day other than maybe day 3.

Match 1 was pretty weak tbh. And XvZ has a lot of elements that I outright dislike. Match 2 is significantly stronger. Both are very good songs. That guitar in Ending is fantastic.

I love how .... jilted this intro is? It's a small little thing but it tells character. Happy it returns later on briefly a few times before the loop.

Another song that has that cool crystal-y sound. That melody that kicks in around the 50 second part alone earned this a spot on my playlist.

Enjoying the chilly vibes of this one and I can't say no to a relaxing Mega Man tune! Wish it had a little more to it. I think this is a song I gotta grow to love more over time through listens of a relaxing vgm compilation or smth.

Gotta love a good woman wailing. I do think the intro before the guitar stretches just a little bit, but man, when it kicks in, it's really soulful. Still not completely sold on the vocals, but this is definitely helped by being an arrangement of an excellent song.

Wow, voting coming kinda late from me today.

Ah yes, I love Kirby music. This is definitely one of the most uniue themes out of the classic series, and that melody is pretty nice. Pretty nice song, glad it got here. On the other hand, we have a pretty rocking track using pads very wonderfully. Can't say I remember it sounding like that, but I like it just as the same level as Sheep Man... this one is tough. Sheep...? Yeah, Sheep.

I still think Wonder Panorama suffers from not being the remastered version, even if it's a unpopular opinion; but it's a nice song nonetheless, don't have a lot to say for it though. This Rockman 3 arrange is sublime; I mean, Proto Man is called Blues, so makes sense this theme is fit for a slow rock take. The vocalist is strong and the guitar kills it too. I feel an arrange with this composition would be the perfect way to go if there was a MM3 remake. Hell yeah, uneven match, I'm afraid.

Close ones today! Both in match 1 are good but XvZ takes a little too long to get to its main melody for me. I like Panorama's percussion. Ending has a better overall melody, but it's very up and down and drags on too long. Hm... I'll vote for consistency today.

X vs. Zero sounds neat, but ultimately it doesn't do too much for me. Cybersheep's Dream sounds more fun to me, a pretty nice chiptune overall.

Wonder Panorama is one of the few songs I know by heart, and it SUCKS that I can't vote for it here. The Ending arrange is just too good, man.
