Other actors in the studio would come by the set to get a glimpse of her to see if the stories they were hearing about her bad behavior were true. Southernfatman 09/30/23 11:19:59 AM #73:	Hook was a childhood favorite and I rewatched it as an adult a few years ago and while some parts were a slog, I still loved it overall. The story of Peter Pan growing up to be a stuffy corporate lawyer and having to go back is interesting. The cast is (mostly) brilliant. Williams is great at being serious when he needs to be in it while also having that child like presence like how Peter Pan would have. Hoffman as Hook is an awesome performance and Hook's quasi-old married couple relationship with Smee is also neat. Hook's ultimate revenge in making Pan's children love him is pretty interesting too. Around the latter third until the big battle it sort of drags a bit and the Tinkerbell scene just comes off as awkward. The big battle is fun, although for a "last epic battle" as the movie implied it to be, it didn't seem that way, but then again you can't have kids going around murdering pirates. The Croc-clock thing is still a bit weird, but I do like how Hook is shown to be a pathetic old man looking for some sort of glory in the end.
