I had covid before the vaccines and nothing happened. I got the vaccine because everything required it and im not anti vax but i wont get anymore unless required again

I received the initial shot plus a booster.

Im good. Get it if you want it.

to me its like the flu shot. Important for young kids and the elderly.

if youre young and in good health I dont see the need tbh.

If it ends up like flu shots I'll be getting one yearly. Covid is no joke, even if you don't have a horrible time with the disease itself the chance of long covid is enough for me to want all available defenses.

I'm glad masking when you're actively sick has caught on in my neck. They way oblivious sick people would just openly cough on stuff was just gross

Originally I was in the "I want to see how it goes since it's new technology" camp. It quickly became clear it was safe and effective (long before it was available here anyway), so I got the first 3 doses as soon as I could. I haven't gotten around to the updated booster yet; nothing against getting it, just haven't bothered and haven't made it a priority in the same way as the earlier ones.

No. The vaccines have demonstrated to be safer than Covid itself (like nearly all vaccines) so I will continue to enjoy enhanced protection, especially when Covid actually hit me pretty hard. When the next booster is available for me, I will get it.

I don't understand the view of "I've already done enough, so I won't get more protection". If it ends up being a yearly thing, the "inconvenience" of getting a single shot each year seems a great tradeoff for protecting yourself and those around you, especially when it's been demonstrated that the earlier protection isn't permanent.
