Because he isn't a YouTuber? Technically he's on Twitch, but before that he was writing articles for the Huffington Post, and working with his Uncle Cenk Unger of the Young Turks since 2014.

He's very opinionated, but he's been covering politics for nearly 10 years at this point.

You do know you can listen to others opinions while still having your own? And nothing about his post I even comes close to implying he hasn't formed his own opinion. Quite the opposite. He has formed his own opinion and thinks the opinion of this person is bad.

Since everyone is scared to watch I went ahead, skipping some of the more repetitive parts. I don't watch Hasan beyond the occasional clip so I dunno what I was expecting, but its fine. It's not really a crazy or unique take, but it does do a pretty decent job of compiling info about the situation.

First thing he does is condemn attacks on civilians and he does it multiple times throughout the video, he doesn't cheerlead Hamas at all. He talks about Israel's apartheid tactics and its far right government and the inevitability of something like this happens when you keep Palestine in the conditions it has been in for the past 20 years. He also touches on the failings of Israel's military and incredibly expensive surveillance program in stopping this from occurring.

The end of the video is a very brief examination of how the two state solution has failed and will continue to fail because of Israel's complete disinterest in it and the US' continued backing of them despite this.

All in all a pretty standard leftist take on the situation. IDK how it in particular changed your mind because what he's saying is what most reasonable people on the left are saying, but if it made you look at the situation with any sort of critical thought I guess that's good op
