Not really. If you have Google Maps and Google Translate, literally 90% of the legwork is covered >_> Ticket systems have an english button to navigate. All the signs in the train station have english, the announcements on the train itself are in English and Japanese as well as the screens there.

The only trouble you may have is navigating the fucking stations lol. Sometimes you have to go up and down multiple times and walk like 10 minutes to change lines in Shibuya or such. But as long as you follow the signs, you're good.
