When I was working overnight shifts I worked with some of the coolest people I've ever met, unlike my day counterparts. I guess I'm the outlier in this situation. Working day shifts made the most miserable I've ever been. Constantly having bosses getting up in your business telling you how to do a job you have done hundreds of times before. Not even bosses from your department, bosses from other departments in the company who have no business running a coffee machine, let alone a company. Night time is quiet, gives me time to actually get my work done in peace, and I can work faster and understand my workload better than I ever could during the daytime. Meanwhile, even if I get into a schedule of working mornings, I'm miserable for the first 2 hours, even after coffee. I have problems processing information, and I speak to people differently. And I'm talking about a regular sleep schedule of going to bed at 10, waking up at 6/630. ... Copied to Clipboard!
