ctesjbuvf (2) - Quite possibly the best pseudo legendary they have ever made. Great type combination, extremely fun design gimmick, ridicously good too. No complaints.
andylt (3) - The best pseudo in a long time, if not the best ever. Really cool while also silly in a fun way, and a great typing.
Ermine (4) - Awesome Pokemon. Best Pseudo by far
NFUN (5) - Honestly, Dragapult looks kind of stupid but his concept is amazing. Launching its first form like a motherfucking Broodlord is so cool. And the Pokedex entry is unintentionally hilarious to me, "Apparently the Dreepy inside Dragapults horns eagerly look forward to being launched out at Mach speeds." They nailed this one
Paratroopa1 (5) - probably won. idk? probably this or corviknight or toxtricity. maybe falinks as a dark horse
Inviso (6) - Not one of my favorite pseudo-legendaries, but it's solid enough, and Dragon/Ghost is a cool type combo.
XIII_Rocks (7) - Probably the pseudo-legendary I have the least connection with, but it's a really great design. And I'm always a sucker for Pokemon that launch smaller Pokemon as weapons, like Rhyperior, and Dragapult does this with its own kids. Great.
Bane_Of_Despair (11) - The pseudo-legendary of this generation, it's a good addition to them. Speedy ghost that shoots its own pre-evolved forms out of its head and they LOVE it, kinda ridiculous but in a good way. Also being Dragon/Ghost is cool, even if it does have a fair amount of weaknesses.
Luster Soldier (11) - One of the better pseudo-legendary Pokemon in terms of design. I find it hilarious that Dragapult can fire off Dreepys when it attacks using Dragon Darts.
Raka_Putra (15) - hyeah
PrinceOfKoopas (43) - I should probably like Dragapult more than Drakloak (two Dreepy to shoot > one), but I find its competitive presence annoying.

Bane_Of_Despair (2) - I think Corviknight was revealed fairly early on in the Sword/Shield previews (I could be wrong) and instantly he was a complete winner. A raven that looks like a knight is sick, and his typing is cool just like how Skarmory was cool. Skarmory flew so Corviknight could soar, I said it. Definitely the best bird region variant the series has had thus far.
ctesjbuvf (3) - Best regional bird to date probably. Really good design, really fun to use, useful competitively too.
Luster Soldier (6) - For a long time, I thought Staraptor and Talonflame had the best design for the fully evolved form of the early game bird Pokemon. Corviknight has managed to outdo both of them with its awesome design somehow.
NFUN (7) - Very simple. Does it all set out to do and no more. Cool and classy
andylt (8) - I like Corviknight a lot but I do think they overdid it a little with the edginess. Much like Talonflame before it, I wish they'd toned it down a tad. But it's still great, and I'll be shocked if it's not top 5.
Inviso (21) - It's not a bad design, nor will I complain about Flying/Steel as a typing. Just wish it was stronger, to match how its typing makes it feel.
PrinceOfKoopas (26) - I like how much lore and importance was placed on it.
hotdogturtle (32) - It's genuinely humorous how good this Pokemon is and continues to be. To think that they used to make bird Pokemon bad on purpose...

Nobody ranking it #1 kind of feels like nobody won there.

Still, the 10-6 today were the lowest ones they could have been for me, so it's a good day on the whole even if the top 5 was in a bad order

Corviknight was a must for my replay team. Once I actually used it I wasn't all that impressed. But at least it won instead of something stupid; I'll take it.

Fun project, I liked following the day-to-day stats. Probably could have ranked Dragapult and Falinks a bit higher. Kinda wild how in sync lefty and I were on Obstagoon and Toxtricity.

Toxtricity is a Pokemon that rests just shy of my top 100. Sometimes I look at it and go, "wow why didn't I rank this higher" and other times I go "yeah this giant space bat (my actual #100) is where it's at". Still, when there's over a thousand of these guys, that's still a compliment! Love the colour scheme, the aesthetic, the type combination ... I also love how it kind of has that gen 1 vibe of just being a weird animal, but it also still has strong design influences of the more recent gens.

Sirfetch'd may be my number 20, but it is also another one of those Pokemon I place pretty highly. Holy cow there's over a thousand of these things! The idea of a Farfetch'd using its leek like a sword is a pretty novel one, I mean Cut was practically its signature move ... So I'm glad they expanded upon this idea and doubled down on it.

Dragapult! Is my sixth favourite Pokemon of all time (though just my second favourite pseudo legend!) and boy is it just so great. I made a picture of it the lock screen of my phone like a year ago and I still smile whenever I look at it. A really cool design, but with a little bit of goofiness (it launches its CHILDREN say what!), and making a stealth bomber inspired Pokemon a ghost type is an extra layer of hilarity. I love though that it's also a doting parent too. Every single aspect of this Pokemon gives me so much joy.

Corviknight ranks as my 49th favourite overall,which isn't bad for a winner if I do say so myself. Every single Pokemon in my top 50 gives me immense joy. I love crows and ravens so much. They're cool and clever fuckers, and making one a sleek knight of a bird fucking rocks. A solid design that doesn't overdo it at all. God, this guy fucking rocks and I'm perfectly happy with it as a winner.

Really cool! I had a lot of fun with this! I'm pretty happy with this top five overall, even this top ten. I feel like if there weren't so many Pokemon, I could see most of these later entries being a favourite in another timeline. So surprised Grapploct and Centiskorch did so well and so happy about that too.

Thank you Steiner for putting this together! Hopefully I'll be around when we do gen 9. Gholdengo gang assemble!

Thanks for hosting this project again. It was fun.

Gen 9 still has the 2nd part of the DLC coming up, so we should definitely wait for that to be released for a month or two at least. After that, I wouldn't mind doing Gen 9, but I'm guessing others would want to wait for Gen 10 to be announced in case there's another pseudo-spinoff game or whatever.

Other things we could rank could be a Gen 1 redo (I'm fine with the original results being the official ones, but we can still do it for fun) or misc stuff that fell through the cracks (e.g. Gen 7 Pokemon after the original Sun/Moon, Galarian forms, Hisuian forms, Primal legendaries, other forme stuff, etc.) The latter probably doesn't have enough stuff to make that worthwhile though.

to note: we ranked gen 1 in 2014. i was not on the board. i was not even present through gen 3, and did participate in gen 4 before starfox handed me gen 5. so, i'm actually quite keen to re-run the early ones... maybe for the 10th anniversary!

It wasn't too hard to guess, although I think "Falinks as a dark horse" was a pretty good callout

That's especially weird because I was the highest outlier and you're listed as being my friend (though in the other sheet your compatibility with me is a bit behind Karo, not sure what's up with that discrepancy).

Can we skip gen 1 and start at generations where my top 20 comments won't all be "I wish I had room to rank this 100 spots lower"?
