Damn_Underscore is a really bad poster that I have always disliked, even when we were both on the same side. But this doesn't even seem modworthy.

It's crazy how actual offensive or hate speech will stay up for a while if modded at all, but a topic about periods is taken down relatively quick. The average age of the userbase is probably around early-mid 30s so it's not like the topic was going to harm someone's delicate sensibilities.

Isolated incident that is not part of a regular issue with mod inconsistency and heavy-handedness on things that don't really need to be modded #7273838262

What's the bet "don't make user is suspended" topics gets stretched to justify modding or at least closing this one?

Mods have been smacking me for the most ridiculous nonsense lately.

I have no issue with the poster being suspended as I mostly just see them making shit threads and posts, however I don't think the actual topic deserved to be deleted. If only there was a way to retain the thread and not the TC.

The act of sex is a taboo and foreign concept to the mod team. Some people just hate what they don't understand.

Your mod history is so bad that stuff that anyone else wouldn't get a second look for posting is going to send you straight to suspension town.

You're right that it was an iffy mod in the first place, and it was hit or miss.

However, this "hit or miss" wouldn't have mattered in the slightest if Underscore didn't have such a bad moderation history, to begin with.

So while we can argue about whether or not that specific moderation was worthwhile or not, what can't be argued is... Their moderation history is so bad, pretty much ANY infraction was going to do them in, period. If it wasn't this, it would have been something else. It was, ultimately, only a matter of time.

One of the users who attacked me in this topic has a history of bullying me, for example.

Tagging toxic users is probably the best thing I ever did, it even helped me become a better person by helping me to avoid those users. Make fun of me all you want.

I like having fun on this board, and a lot of times that involves immature things like joking about sex or other bathroom humor. I dont make posts with the intention of angering people. I dont see whats wrong with that.

Youre right. Once I was modded for posting a blurred pic that wasnt blurred enough. I was very disappointed but I totally got it. I had no reason to make a topic about that moderation because everyone would have rightly said that it was deserved. But like I said, I was absolutely dumbfounded by this moderation. So I really dont care what they do.

It's an iffy moderation, but for your average user, it would have been a close/deletion with no karma loss.

The fact it literally lead to a suspension, for you, means you probably need to reflect more on your own posts.
