I'd like to think, considering the Russo Brothers were the ones behind IW/EG Thor, that someone can keep the blueprints that Taika set up, but perhaps find that happy medium as you suggested. I don't think Thor 4 is flat-out terrible either, just a little much, and maybe a little wasted in its premise.
