Here's what I mean. The game itself is good, no doubts there. New art designs, strong sound design, and unique levels are all great. The power ups are intuitive, plentiful, and fun to use. and having multiple objectives to complete in each level gives you a reason to notice all of the details they put in the game. In those respects I really like the game.

But I just don't feel compelled to play more than 3-4 levels in one sitting. I have to take a break from it all and come back to pick it up later. Which is fine, there's no reason not to since the game is simple enough to easily resume where you left off.

Anyone else know what I'm talking about? Maybe you felt this way about another game you enjoyed but couldn't/didn't get lost in for more than an hour or so?

As much as I love platformers that's generally how I feel about them yeah. They're perfect in short bursts.

Honestly I played a world a day just because I wanted the experience to last.

I can see how one could get overhwhelmed because every level introduces a new mechanic.
