I played 6 and 7.

Gameplay is pretty good, I like the soundtrack as well.

The writing and dialogue however, some of the worst in the industry, and thats saying something.

All I know about Ace Combat is that it's cool and fun fighter jet combat, and that the story is incredibly threadbare.

Also that one time they used a flat JPEG of a dog instead of modeling a dog.

Replayed 7 again last night.

Pretty much the 2nd best behind 5 because it lacked squadron controls and a solid co-op feature. Its VR mode and flightstick capability working together though *chef's kiss*

Hands down the worst = Assault Horizon.
Fuck that game.

Infinity was underrated af but the fuckers at BAMCO microtransactioned that thing to death and it wasn't sustainable for casuals to keep playing.
