Abigail Breslin privately made allegations about her co-star Aaron Eckhart while working together on the upcoming movie Classified and now those claims have been made public as part of a lawsuit against her.

The production companies behind the film have filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Abigail and say that her allegations against Aaron cost the project $80,000.

Earlier this year, Abigail wrote a letter to SAG-AFTRA and said that she was afraid to be alone with Aaron.

During the course of production, the entire production almost ground to a halt when Breslin advised the production of Eckharts of aggressive, demeaning, and unprofessional behavior which she insisted placed her at various times in peril, the lawsuit stated (via The Blast). In order for the production to continue, among other things. Breslin refused to be alone in several scenes with Eckhart and costly accommodations had to be made by the production to accommodate Breslins demands or else Breslin would not continue to perform her contractual obligations.

The producers claim that an investigation on set found no evidence in support to Breslins wild, hysterical, and imaginary allegations against Eckhart.

Its claimed in the lawsuit that the unnecessary accommodations made for Breslin, whose claims were specious, cost the production over $80,000. The producers also claim that Abigailis extorting them by demanding a $35,000 payment as a condition for signing paperwork that is required to be signed in order for the film to be released.

This is an intriguing case, since it's typically an actor/actress suing a production company over such allegations, not such allegations coming out after a production company sued an actor/actress.

Curious to see what comes from discovery.

I have no strong opinion about this situation one way or another, but a studio performing an investigation about this sort of thing means absolutely nothing. Studios cover up scandalous, unsavory, and criminal shit all the fucking time.

What's interesting is that the production company is openly saying they conducted an investigation and found the claims to be unfounded, which, since they're the ones suing, opens them up to further scrutiny. Which means they're either very confident in their own findings, or they're complete idiots.

In all seriousness there's nowhere near enough information for the general public to make a judgement either way.

Of course that's not gonna stop them.

It could even be that everyone involved was being an asshole and it's all nuggets of truth. Who knows. Overall nothing so far overly seems like that big of a deal.

Reminder that once upon a time hysteria was something doctors could actually diagnose women with. People who use that term know exactly what theyre doing, especially since a major political party in the US wants to return to those days.

Just comparing comments and submissions from both sides, the production is backing Eckhart too, look at him he's tall and handsome and charming and never had complaints before, but we see a lot of stuff like Johnny Depp and Johnathan Majors though, it's not fair

I think it does not matter how trustworthy Eckhart is. I think what matters is a company must guarantee your safety and not put you in a position where you must trust coworkers.

It doesn't sound like they're actually suing over that part. The part they appear to be suing about is where they basically suggest she more or less held the movie up for ransom by refusing to sign things to allow them to release the film unless they paid her more money.

Who knows how true or not that is, we only know one side of the story.
