I took Calc thru Calc 3 and also Differential Equations. Plus some other high level undergrad and grad level classes on stuff like Probability and Stochastic Signals. Past Calc 3, it's kinda hard to classify "levels" of math... ... Copied to Clipboard!

Math was the most time-consuming subject in school when it comes to homework, and the only one where I retained pretty much nothing. The only useful thing I got from 13+ years of math was learning times tables. --- This is where cool people write stuff. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Algeria 3yeah do you think less math should be taught ? like stuff above algebra 1? have heard others say this. That it's importance is vastly overrated --- "That won't work Boss, hide the target in a place they're unlikely to be found"---GZ ... Copied to Clipboard!

Linear algebra or differential equations are probably the highest math classes I took, though defining "highest" gets a bit vague after a while, and neither of those were as hard as multivariable calculus, which was technically a lower level of math class at my university. ... Copied to Clipboard!

It's about developing our problem-solving skills in a way that is practical and affordable. Like, I don't think any Geometry teacher expects you to remember how to do proofs, but it's a very good way to get you to think about the mechanics that go behind something. It teaches you not to just accept that something is done, but how it is done. --- Number of legendary 500 post topics: 35, 500th posts: 34; PiO ATTN: 6 RotM wins 1, LETTEN MY ARROW FLYEN TRUE ... Oh I have a cousin who works in like California dmv or something. Does Calif req. A degree for the stuff?Depending on the position, yeah. My current position didn't. Just needed previous experience working in an office. The IT position that I plan on starting with, requires the equivalent to an Associates degree (2 years of college). So I can start that one (for the pay increase) before finishing my bachelors. The position above it requires a Bachelors degree. --- PSN - NoxObscuras Z490 | i9-10900K | EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra | 32GB DDR4 3600 | 4TB SSD ... Copied to Clipboard!
