Like if next-gen XBox there is no disc drive on either version. They're digital only. If you want to play physical discs you pay extra for an add-on.

I view it differently on PC. I haven't lost a single thing I've bought on steam after its been delisted. I lost games in consoles after they were delisted.

I avoid digital on console unless the game is basically free.

Main reason I bought a disk based ps5 is because of the games I already have not because I plan to buy a ton of disk based ps5 games (although I did buy a few). I play pc games on my gaming laptop too and it is far easier for me to be fine with download only because that is the way it has been for a decade+. It would bother me a little but I do think a mostly diskless future is in the cards for consoles too.

they're not proper consoles, they're just empty plug-n-plays where you have to pay to get the contents that should've been included

nickle and dime tactics, pure unpurchasable garbage, I wouldn't accept one for free
