I have this habit of reading while laying down, and I've tried reading sitting down on my desk, but I feel like I don't take in as much if I read on the bed.

Is this a habit I should fix or does it matter?

I have a bean bag I read on.

Couch. In bed before bed. On public transportation.

My favourite is on vacation, though. Find a nice bar, sit down and drink a lot of beer while disappearing in a good book.

I mostly sit up, however. Even in bed I'll prop my pillow up on the head board.

Usually in bed more than anywhere else

I mostly read laying on the couch or in bed. When it's warmer I will hang my hammock in the woods and sit there and read for a few hours. I'll also usually read while waiting at doctors offices.

I do my best reading when I'm on the exercise bike. I sometimes read during commercials as well, but I'm not as focused because of the background noise. I do also read in bed right before I go to sleep, but don't get much reading in doing this because I usually nod off.

I have to be in a dark room and lying down

I haven't read much in the past few months tho because if I lie down too much I get lightheaded

gross do you at least clean the chair before you sit in it?

I'm the desk reader. I'll read anywhere but a library table is my preferred. I need a huge entire kitchen table. Also will read on the couch but I will go to sleep if I do that.

I usually read sitting on the couch but I do like having a table or desk. Not having to actually hold the book is nice and I can shift positions more.

to answer TC's question, I usually read in bed or on the sofa. but i almost always end up falling asleep. i don't find it comfortable to read in a sitting position and the instant i recline anywhere to do anything my busted-ass body instantly enters bedtime mode, even if it's the middle of the day.

i've found having abundant snacks present helps stay awake tho lol. just end up eating a shit ton of peanuts to stay awake.

Walking in the hallway.

Usually I finish walking before I finish reading, so I'll plop down wherever after that.

I sit up to read. Laying down makes me uncomfortable too quickly.
