MZero 02/03/24 10:45:35 PM #8:	The game starts kind of abruptly as we're just immediately thrown into the otherworldly phenomena, but the main character seems oddly unfazed by the coffins and pools of blood everywhere. We don't get any background on where he's from, why he's moving here, or how much he knew about this stuff before, but maybe that'll come later. We get to the dorm and there's a creepy looking kid in prisoner clothes who asks us to sign something, which I do with zero hesitation. I name him Makoto Yuki, as that is his canon name as I understand. Next we meet some of our friends, Yukari and Mitsuru, for the first time. Mitsuru is mature and reliable, but kind of cold, while Yukari is more friendly and helpful. It seems like they don't know about the kid I saw earlier, so I assume that's connected to the Velvet Room and such based on the other games in the series I've played. Yukari shows me to my room, asks if I have any questions, and then tells me to go to bed. The next day is the first day of school, and to no one's surprise, Yukari and I are in the same class. I meet our teacher, who kindly informs me that my parents are ded. Rumors have spread that because we walked to school together one time, Yukari and I are totally banging. Oh high school, a simpler time. There's also a guy named Junpei in our class, who's very friendly and full of energy. He decides we should leave together, although we barely get off the premises before going our separate ways. I do some exploring and find a really sketchy looking place but there's not much to do, so I head home. Side note: Morgana telling you to go to bed in Persona 5 became a meme, but it happens quite a bit in this game too. Some time later I meet the school Director back at the dorm, and he talk about some stuff I frankly don't really remember. The next thing I remember is him and the two girls watching me sleep, which is kind of creepy. Oh yeah, there's also a guy named Akihiko who showed up for a second and likes fighting Shadows and stuff. Anyway, this feels like a major invasion of my privacy. Speaking of Akihiko, he got himself into a bad spot and some Shadows follow him back to the dorm. Yukari can't handle the pressure and I have to step up to the plate and seem to have very little hesitation shooting myself in the head. After defeating the Shadow, I pass out and am in a coma for a few days (I think? I didn't really pay attention to how long it was) After I wake up the Director decides to let me in on what's going on. There's a secret period of time between each day called the Dark Hour, and we're part of a group that investigates it and beats up Shadows with our Personas. Normal people aren't aware of this and are sleeping inside of coffins during it, and Shadows attack them and leave them in a catatonic state. Later, Junpei moves into the dorm, because of course he's a Persona-user as well. Couldn't have seen that coming! Now we have enough manpower to investigate Tartarus, which may hold the key to erasing the Dark Hour entirely. I also spent enough time in Tartarus to get to level 10 so I could fuse a Strength Persona for the manager. Little girl at the shrine made me fetch takoyaki and a beverage and didn't even have the courtesy to give me a social link level! Thorn 02/08/24 11:43:41 AM #34:	Provided they haven't changed the S. Link requirements, the order you probably want to focus on/max the social stats is: ~~Courage first, then Charm, Academics last~~. Also absent any changes in Reload it's easiest to max them in that order as well because the social stats listed later require more points to actually max. --- May you find your book in this place. Finished about 4 social links and just have to max out Academics.
