Anyway: Dexters Laboratory Ed, Edd, n Eddy Samurai Jack Adventure Time Of these I feel strongest about Adventure Time. It resurrected Cartoon Network originals after the disastrous second half of the 2000s, became their longest running (and probably most popular) show ever, launched a whole era of prestige cartoons for both children and adults, and started a franchise that still continues to this day. Its also really damn good. Next is Ed, Edd, n Eddy. This was the longest running show before Adventure Time (some say it still holds the record and theyre wrong lol) and was an absolutely huge hit. After that Dexters Lab works as the early 90s rep. Samurai Jack is probably the weakest of these but its still possibly the best thing theyve ever done and when they brought it back it did extremely well so it deserves it I think. --- I just decided to change this sig. Dexter's Laboratory Samurai Jack Adventure Time My gut thought was Ben 10 over Dexter's because Ben 10 was their cashcow in-between the cartoon cartoons era and Adventure Time (it speaks volumes that it got four follow-up series) but I felt not having Dexter's for its historical importance would be absolutely ridiculous. Other than that PPG and AT feel obligatory (PPG for the same reason as Dexter plus it's more of a franchise, AT for being arguably the cartoon of the 2010's). Samurai Jack is one of the most acclaimed cartoons of all time. other shows that must be mentioned: Johnny Bravo, Ed, Edd 'n' Eddy, Courage, Gumball, Steven Universe, Regular Show, Teen Titans/Go (not made by CN but so eternally linked to them it has to be in the conversation) --- Born to lose, live to win! ... Powerpuff Girls Ben 10 Adventure Time We're all fossils here, so I'm not surprised there's almost no mention of more modern shows. PPG and Adventure Time should require no explanation. Picks like Johnny Bravo feel completely redundant to me. The mid-2000s should get something in there, and Ben 10 fits the bill pretty well to me, with 5 consecutive shows of great success and huge sales in general. Quick Google search claims it's one of CN's best-selling shows (if not the highest grossing) and was hugely responsible for keeping the network afloat during that time period. $6 billion in retail sales is enormous. And as odious as I find it, TTG should probably get a place here. Possibly the network's biggest show in the last like, 10 years? But I couldn't justify snubbing either Dexter's Lab or PPG, and I think people here are underestimating Ben 10 in general. So whatever, I'll keep it off the list. I don't think it will be all that fondly remembered tbh - more of a passing phenomenon, mayhaps, even if very representative of the current era of over the top fast-paced cartoons. The Amazing World of Gumball Adventure Time Teen Titans Ben 10 I am including TAWOG for a few reasons. Its hilarious, has some of the best face reactions in all of animation and its cool to me how its an amalgamation of different styles. Theres 2D characters, 3D human beings, food with faces, characters who are made of paper, puppets, CGI and basically anything they could use and I just think of it as a love letter to animation in that regard. Teen Titans probably deserves to be on whether its the original or Go. Adventure Time was a massive hit. Ben 10 is popular enough to where I think it has more series than any CN show period. I was gonna say Batman Beyond, but Im pretty sure no Batman series were CN originals. CN had a lot of great cartoons. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I know IMDB is not the best but all except that one are above a 9, and the finale is one of the highest rated episodes of the whole show. There was a dip after the first 3-4 eps for the new Samurai Jack season but overall I thought it was still good. Those 3-4 episodes were definitely the best though.

Powerpuff Girls was the biggest one back in the day. Ben 10 was huge also in merchandise and Adventure Time also defined a generation. Dexter's Laboratory would easily be my fifth choice. Teen Titans Go isn't a great choice, it has mixwd opinions and isn't an original. It airs alot because it's cheeper to air, kinda like Johnny Test before it.
