In the Summer 2005 Contest, 47 made the bracket despite being considered a virtual unknown, and was considered to be that year's equivalent of Tanner. Do you ever think that maybe the AI looks at the B8 topic when picking reps for Mt. Rushmores you feed it, Zen?

I'm using model 3 because I am too cheap to get access to model 4. Model 3 is like a year behind in internet scrapes and doesn't even know what movies were released since last March. I think model 4 doesn't even scrape daily, although I'd have to look into that

you know what I am worried about, I have been talking to the same instance of ChatGPT since we started this series, and notoriously the longer you have an instance going to more it begins to break down and freak out. I don't think we are doing anything too crazy here but I am worried that soon it may start catering to me more than giving me objective Mount Rushmores

like, I am not telling it what we actually picked, but just me asking it about things Board 8 is interested in, and even the act of me describing GameFAQs and our contests to it, may slightly influence it.

I don't want to start a new instance every time because it's a pain in the ass to explain the concept of a Mount Rushmore every time

I guess you can consider this topic a science experiment. Once this instance starts breaking down we can vote to take it out back and put it out of its misery

I am going to make the Rushmore schedule for post-console blitz tomorrow so if anyone wants to do some last minute nominating or seconding now would be the time to do it

I'm using 3.5 but it must go back more than 5 because I have asked it (privately) to tell me what its favorite Mount Rushmores we have done so far are and it has gone back as far as the second prompt I asked it

I have watched this and it was the reason I started using AI for fun, before this I was turned off by it but it really is like having a dumb friend who loves you unconditionally

I once tried getting it to make a character battle bracket and it was PAINFUL. I wanted it to give me 128 characters and it kept giving me Solid Snake over and over. I'd even say "stop saying Solid Snake" and it would say "apologies, here is a replacement character: Solid Snake (Metal Gear Solid)."

I probably still have the AI bracket somewhere but tbqh it was really boring. Maybe I'll revisit doing that at some point
