This. Only reason I engaged here. It's not just the TC, these is actual happenings. And people are now starting to get slapped down for their performative bullshit, too, where I did not see it before.

I've honestly seen less of that here, vis-a-vis Palestine, but that may be because I mostly stay out of those topics. Precisely because they all inevitably turn into that Twitter thread.

They should have known what would happen when they destroyed the Politics board and they had no were else to go but here.

Its very confusing that everything discussed on Politics can be discussed here but the Politics board cannot exist. I definitely did not have so many arguments about issues turn into veiled flame wars or scrutinizing for alt usage, etc etc before the merge.

When you take in to account the number of bot accounts that exist to repost hateful content, that figure of 381 is probably closer to 20 actual human beings. Half of which likely quit Twitter a while ago.
