Funnily enough, I just got asked to do Deadpool, the new one now, and I spoke to the director, and I just said it's such a drama putting that suit on, you know. Mentally and physically. I mean, it had its mental toll as well because you're in it, and you can't do anything all day; you can only drink through a straw. So we couldn't strike the deal for Deadpool. I mean, Deadpool's my favorite movie of all f****** time, more or less. I really wanted to do it, but they didn't have the budget to put me in the suit.

With Wolverine being center stage, I imagine Juggernaut would have been little more than a cameo anyway.

Don't they cgi the masks for like half the cast of these movies anyways? Feel like they could have rigged out a removable headpiece they could have easily replaced in post.

I'm fairly certain the masks are CGI whenever one of their masks disappears or appears with that "nanotech" shit. Which is almost every scene in these movies. Natalie Portman pretty vocally complained about her helmet being CGI for the entirety of that new Thor movie.

DP2's juggernaut is full CGI, not just the helmet.

Wasn't Deadpool himself also CGI.
