You can just not talk like I do with some of my weirdo family like..well ok I do talk to them sometimes but Im being vague out of paranoia just in case but one guy has a drinking problem and he seems to get bizarrely frustrated if you dont agree with every single opinion he states and if you dont agree you are a really big idiotic C slur word and R slur word. I dont hate him actually hes kinda funny sometimes but I dont appreciate his drunk behaviour to people so I dont talk that often

I was an only child and preferred this. Im an extreme introvert. I like my space, I like my quiet, I like my things left alone. I had friends with large families and it always seemed so hectic and draining. Its the same way I live my life in small rural communities and dont like larger cities.

My family was as small as it gets. Just my dad and I. He worked all the time and we barely interacted. And I still moved out at 17 to be on my own and have more space.

Oh and my family seldom does gatherings the last Time was my aunties wedding we dont even do Christmas or new year gatherings so maybe Im spoilt with the idea of not having to go to them with people who have ideas of annoying frequent gatherings i hear people hate

If speaking of your immediate family, small. Less risk of people bugging you and asking for things. I have one brother who stays with me and that's enough. Can't imagine having more siblings floating around.

I have a million cousins across the country who I don't see. Won't even meet most of them.

I think small amount of family works better. Easier to coordinate family gatherings. Especially if you do so in a public space.

Like if you have a large group for a restaurant reservation, a lot of places will want to arrange a limited menu, so as to not overwhelm their kitchen staff. Can't just order whatever you want. My family has had to do that the least few times we've gotten together at a restaurant.

I kept it vague on purpose as a test ngl but me personally was thinking of regular in contact immediat family

Being mixed race is weird all my family i talk to is white and Im the lone mixed race guy in there. Glad 0 of my contact immediate family is truly racist.

In an ideal world, a large family would be nice. I've mostly had few family members that I've been close to in this life.
