Rules: If you list more than 4 things I'm gonna just tally the first 4 you say. If you list the same character multiple times it won't count. Be nice. Don't shove your personal definition of "Mount Rushmore" down others' throats. Have fun. If you're going to majorly change a vote please quote your old vote to make it easier for me. Movie villain specific-rules: The villain should primarily be a movie villain that originated in a movie, so no Bowser or Voldemort. However, if a villain's original form of media is largely forgotten/significantly dwarfed in popularity by the prevalence of the movie(s), then they count as a Movie Villain. Additionally, if the character did not originate in a movie but it's one of those situations where the movie is significantly different than the source material, then you can say that the villain is a movie-exclusive interpretation and they will count. I'd say under these rules that Heath Ledger Joker would count (and characters in similar situations) I reserve the right to say "NO THAT'S NOT A MOVIE CHARACTER >:(" but I probably won't unless someone posts something real dumb Reference Links: https://tiermaker.com/categories/tv-and-movies/best-movie-villains-384784 (not everyone here is eligible, read the rules) PREVIOUS RESULTS: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1uCR-viOTP-yKhRZnTyvaoXj7teKRA12gz7m-1rfmhoY/ (Sheet 1) "Video Games are ART": Journey, Shadow of the Colossus, Okami, Disco Elysium Stand-Up Comedians: Carlin, Pryor, Seinfeld, MacDonald Cryptids: Nessie, Bigfoot, Chupacabra, Mothman Board Games: Chess, Monopoly, Scrabble, Go Stephen King Stories: IT, The Shining, Carrie, The Stand Nicktoons: Spongebob, Rugrats, Avatar TLA, Hey Arnold! Jason Voorhees Wicked Witch of the West Scar (The Lion King) Vader is a given. Jason is my horror pick. Came in to also have Voldemort and Captain Hook (nonspecific version) but those are both excluded by the rules. If you asked 100 people on the street to name Palpatine, I'd estimate maybe 15 could, while 80 could probably name Darth Vader. I mean I agree but I'm going for who's the bigger villain not who's better known. He somehow made his way into a trilogy he had no right to be in. Other picks I'd probably go with more popularity but for Star Wars I figured going with the villain they keep bringing back and the villain in most of the medium over the one best known. Jason, Jigsaw, Freddy, Chuckie all can be good picks to horror; Godzilla was mentioned and is an interesting idea if he counts, so popularity exists elsewhere. --- The King Wang. Actually Dr. Evil would be a really legitimate choice. Not only is he super memeable (and arguably was even before the birth of memes when people were constantly quoting him in the 90s and early 00s), but he's a parody of another legitimate categorical choice here, the Bond Villain.
