That period is the best Edmonton has looked in a few games. Now lets see for once having a third period they don't get completely dominated by Vancouver and give up a multiple goal lead.

Remember game 1? I'm not taking anything for granted with over 75% of the period left. They scored 3 goals in under 5 minutes that game. 2 just 39 seconds apart.

Not only do I love game 7's in hockey but Monday night is my weekend so instead of being at work and watching it like I am right now I will be off in the comfort of my own home watching it in my home theatre. Which is much more enjoyable. Hell yeah.

Vancouver spending the majority of the game with single-digit shots on goals is certainly a statistic.

Yeah this is far from over. Up until game 6 we have seen Vancouver essentially dominate the 3rd periods and come back from multiple goal deficits multiple times. At times they have dominated play so much it looks like they are on a power play.

But they sucked all of game 6 and thus far in game 7 havent broken out of that funk yet. But they are capable of it.

When I look at the season as a whole for the Canucks... nobody predicted them winning their division, being as strong as they have been all year. You lose Demko AND DeSmith in the first round and still take the Oilers to 7. Losing Boeser for Game 7 was tough too.

It was a very successful year for the Canucks.

Is Dallas that good? Didn't Colorado win the cup a couple seasons ago. This is so embarrassing but I was watching CBC and they considered Dallas a more complete team. I just wish I knew things like I used to do.

Dallas is the first team to beat the previous Champs on their way to conference finals

I'm not even in Canada but close. I have no issue with Dallas but I just feel dumb because I feel like they weren't that good recently.

I'm pretty sure they have been pretty middle of the pack up until this year.

Dallas is similar to the Knights in that they can run 4 lines really well. They are DEEP and have no glaring holes in their game.

Oilers have had a hard time running 4 lines. They finally got some production in games 6 and 7 against the Canucks but... if Dallas can limit the damage Draisitl and McDavid do, their 3rd and 4th lines are significantly better than the Oilers.
