Vancouver wins despite badly outshot, Oilers hitting the post 3 times and another the goalie got his hand over right on the line and pulled it back, plus a couple other close calls. Good game. Oilers blowing game 1 is going to come back to haunt them I think.

Canucks play another great road game and take back home ice advantage.

I don't think it should have been a suspension given the extracurriculars that happened before it. And if hitting the head is what triggers a suspension, why isn't Hyman getting one for going for the head about two seconds after this?

Eh, given that McDavid was hacking at the shin guards of another player, a cross check to the face is a bit of an escalation to be sure. You can argue that was Zadorov's fault but ultimately Soucy needs to be in control of his stick.

Would it have happened if the receiving player was Kane? I don't think so if I'm being honest.

Avs looked devastated in the first period. No energy, no jump at all, getting handled quite easily right now by the Stars. If not for an excellent goaltending performance it should be like 3-0 already after 1.

Im not an expert on the Avs but I think their record is fairly poor without Nichushkin. Honestly I think they were losing this series anyway but that was like the death blow him getting suspended. Take away the 3 goal deficit comeback in game 1 and this series is 3-0 with Dallas sweeping tonight.

Dallas with the 5-1 win, take a commanding 3-1 series lead.

Crazy how bad Colorado looks against a team that doesn't throw out the defensive strategy that's worked all year just for the playoffs and actually has a system that can utilize their offensive talent.

I know they already won their Cup but all their other playoff runs look exactly like what the Capitals were known for prior to winning theirs. Dominate the regular season and then just shit a brick in the first or second round.

One goal game, Vancouver really putting the pressure on. Im not sure Edmonton can hold this lead for 11 minutes. I think they need another goal. Feels like Vancouver was on a power play there. Christ. Had well over a minute straight in the zone.

I knew it. I knew that much pressure would eventually lead to a goal. Canucks tie the game with their net empty in the final two minutes and the Oilers blow yet another multi goal 3rd period lead. Edmonton has to win this or the series is over.

Its been great. Game 5 is going to be huge going up 3-2. The way this series has gone winning 2 games in a row is a tall task.

As a Canucks fan...

1. We did our job. We went into Edmonton and took home ice advantage back.
2. Our young team learned a valuable lesson. You can't stop playing for a single second. After tying the game they stopped playing hard and it cost them.

Avs are saved for another day. Teams in a position to move onto the conference finals are 0-4 so far in elimination games. O_o
