I meant more in terms of getting the outcomes you want in dialogue/stealth more than in terms of combat difficulty

I know what tc is saying. The game isnt hard but often times in combat things just dont work the way you expect and put you in very bad spots in a cheap way that wouldnt happen on table top D&D with a human DM.

Great game though.

This. Hell, I backup saves for FromSoft games to do it there even when it doesnt let me. I dont trust auto saves worth a damn, and fuck you, my progress will be overwritten when I say it will.

You can cap how many saves it will keep. I set my limit to 25.

My honor mode run taught me that I will absolutely never play a hardline no backups run of BG3 again. Multiple questlines ruined by glitches I had no idea about (though none were really important), and the stress of being at act 3 made me preemptively stop doing sidequests and just finish the game to get it over with because the idea of replaying all of that AGAIN was awful.

Though I was also playing a harder ruleset I made for myself, which didn't help. But still, save scumming conversations so I could safely take the forthelulz options was something I missed a lot in my honor run.

I had so many Cyberpunk saves it would crash the game, lol. Had to go manually delete them in the folder they were in.
