I encountered a light like that once. Not a car to be seen in any direction, but I still sat there for a minute waiting for it to change, looking around to see if a cop might be hiding somewhere to get some extra tax money for an infraction, before proceeding through.

It's a similar thing with empty parking lots that have Stop signs every 30 feet. If I have clear sight lines with zero cars nearby, then there isn't a rational reason to stop every 30 feet.

This is the only instance I can think of. It was whenmy friend was in the hospital. Her daughter and her had a feud going back decades. My friend wanted to bury the hatchet. We made contact and my friend apologized her daughter did not. Few months pass, and it looks like my friends final days are near. I did not reach out to her daughter to see if she would finally admit she was sorry for what she had done. My friend told me not to. So when she was in her final days in the hospital I did not contact her daughter. I should have but did not. Her mother died without that closure.

Once when I was in a public room in D2 there were a couple others in a room with me, and one got excited because a vendor had a really nice FoH stick. He didn't have enough gold so he went to meet up with his friend to get the gold to pay for jt. While he was doing that I went and purchased the FoH stick then left the room. In my next game I decided I didn't actually want to make another alt for a FoH paladin, so I tossed the FoH stick on the ground and turned the game off.
