My great grandmother used to tell me a story when I was a little boy that relates to this.

Back in the old country when she was a little girl in her village there was a baby that the villagers apparently felt was freakishly big and strong. They eventually concluded that the baby was possessed or a demon or something. To remedy the situation, the entire town burst into the parent's home and took the baby. They then proceeded to murder it in front of the parents.

To further this being fucked up, they included children to be part of the mob so they could see this shit. As an old woman, my gradmother still was horrified by it.

So, I guess the point of sharing this is that you should be wary of late 1800s eastern European villages if you value your child's safety. Shit was insane there

My daughter was 99th percentile for height and weight for a while. Height has gone down to around 95th but weight stays at 99th. She recently moved up to the 2-3 year old daycare class and makes the older kids look malnourished or something. She was 30 lbs at a year, up around 40 now. Size 8 diapers. Loves whole milk, loved formula too.

Is his name Clifford? What if he just doesn't stop growing at an alarming rate? Can you vouch for his character? Can we depend on your son to keep earth safe from threats or should we all collectively be concerned?

I have seen some crazy growth spurts at young ages that don't necessarily mean they will be freakishly oversized as adults.

My cousin Emily was absolutely huge in Elementary, both height and weight. When she played on the 3rd and 4th grade T-Ball teams she was bigger than some high school girls. But the thing is she sprouted really really quickly and then just tapered off.

Now she is a full adult, mom of her own and sure she is tall for a woman, she is right around 6 feet even but she isn't freakishly tall or big but she absolutely DWARFED kids in Elementary.

So he is indeed red like Clifford...

He does turn a lil red when he gets angry, so I figured it was an appropriate color choice

Some kids are just abnormally large but when that largeness is extreme, you have to consider that there may be an underlying health issue that's causing the rapid growth.

I certainly hope that's not the case here and that maybe the wife's grandpa is like 220 cm or something.

While it wasn't this extreme my Uncle had this issue with his son and my Aunt. When his son Clay was like 12 and on the verge of being a teenager he was already 6 foot tall and was a pork chop at 250 pounds. When my Uncle was gone he would get really obstinate with my Aunt who was like 5'2 and like 100 pounds because he knew she couldn't make him listen.

He needed to mature a little emotionally and my Uncle had to have some talks with him because my Aunt Mary had no control over him. He simply wouldn't listen to her because of the size difference.
