I think it's a lot of bots or something the game itself is basically the same as runescape 2 but there's a trading center in it called the grand exchange. idk if that was added in 3, or part of 2 and it was added after i stopped playing. I think it was added in RS2 like a year or 2 before they went to HD with 3. And yeah, before the Grand Exchange, everyone went to World 1 Varrock to do trades lol. OSRS puts any game changes up to a poll where the member community has to vote on it favorably before anything gets implemented. Part of the reason why people are less talkative now is because so many are focused on efficiency rather than the social aspect. Also, scams have evolved significantly since the trimming armor! days and now involve a lot of social engineering, so usually its smarter to just stay quiet. Its unfortunate, but thats where were at. Also yeah theres still tons of bots lol. I think the best bet if you want some people to chat with is to find a really good clan to join. Ratchetrockon 05/04/24 4:26:08 PM #84:	ive just been using the jagex launcher. you can choose runelite on it. idk if this launcher works on non-windows OS also with the jagex account integration thingy i now officially own the account im using without worrying it being taken back lmao. a friend gave it to me in 2008. was originally an alt of his (so all my stats in OSRS are MINE but some of the stats in rs3 were trained by him a bit but never more than like level 60 iirc). he could have probably recovered it anytime before like yesterday basically. well at least im hoping it is unrecoverable now with these extra measures --- I'm a Taurus.
