Airforce, I guess. I've got a few friends who went that route, and it seems the most compatible for someone like me (computer science major, most of my work in IT and networking)

I picked the army way back because I was to stupid for anything else.

Going back and if I had the choice then probably the navy in order to travel.

I almost wish I would have stayed active duty. I could be retired with a full pension.... Gah!

I'd be in the navy so I can sail the seven seas.

Space Force

I was in the airforce
4 years. Stayed in the states. Never deployed. Tdy to Nellis afb a few times (Vegas basically) and some place in Florida once but we stayed at a resort. It was fun

I didnt like my job but I guess it wasn't all bad looking back. I sucked at it tho
Workplace was pretty toxic too...

Definitely would choose airforce over the other branches i guess. Ive talked to other servicemembers from diff branches and they seemed to have it rough in comparison to my situation haha.

Airforce / Navy second choice.

Canada has different classifications. We do Army, Airforce, Navy, and Sigs.

I was Sigs. It's the best cause one deployment or exercise you can be living gucci on a Navy boat getting three hot squares and sleep, while the next you can be humping it through the mountains with a radio on your back with the army.

I loved the constant change of scenery and experiences.

For those not in the know, the Sigs branch is the radio operators.

Chair Force

Air Force. I had family who served there, and IIRC, they're generally the most amenable branch to left-wing politics.

My dad was in the Air Force and I currently work for the Army, but yeah Air Force

Did 8 years in the Marines, some of the best and some of the worst times of my life

It's pretty normal for the Army and the Marines to dunk on the Air force, Coast Guard, Space Force and sometimes the Navy.

Even anime does it.

Airforce seems like the most chill one, treated the best, and aren't gonna be in the front lines like Army and Marines

Navy

I think being on a giant boat out in the middle of the ocean would be cool.

They briefly tried to recruit me before I went to graduate school. I sorta wish I would have done it.

Cha-... I mean Air Force. Maybe the Stargate is real and I can go visit other planets.

Air Force since I have an aviation background. Cant do Navy and Coast Guard since I hate the ocean. I wouldnt know what to do in the Army and I would probably die in Marine Corps basic training.

Because Chair Force is easy compared to the rest.

Navy requires up to 9 months on a boat, at sea, every year. Cramped living conditions, minimal to no internet, weeks without consistent contact with loved ones.

Army is pretty chill generally but can require you to go off for a month+ at a time for training, deploy to austere environments for 9 months, and just generally live a middling life style.

Marines is Army but on steroids and underfunded. Super early wake ups, long days, can be stuck with the Navy on a boat.

Space Force is just Air Force. Just Trump's fever dream of making a branch

In another life where I was able to join I would have been in the Navy it seems like a pretty cool opportunity to travel the world and what not.

Whichever one has the nukes.

No, I'm not thinking about actually nuking any targets, I'm just thinking about detonating a few in the middle of nowhere to watch them explode. Always thought it'd be awesome to see a nuclear test live.

Coast Guard if I had to do physical work. Otherwise the Navy has a good IT program and so does the Airforce.

The marines

Everyone here picking Airforce cause they think they'll avoid on ground combat. EVERYONE gets deployed. Lol.

Army, I could've done air force but the army had the specific job I wanted and a really good sign on bonus so I was like well ok.

I didn't do shit though, got sick right after training and ended up medically retired

I feel like joining the air force has the lowest chance of being killed in combat, like very few people in that branch become pilots, most of them are just mechanics or other support
