Honestly, yeah.

Do you think people are going to remember this topic a week after it purges? And right now no one's thinking "Oh no, we fell right into TC's trap!", they're thinking "Wow this user who's telling on themselves makes for a great basketball hoop".

Speaking of users telling on themselves, boy did the PS4 (or 5 I don't remember) have some dogshit takes a few hours ago.

Real talk here for a moment -

I haven't played and Assassins Creed since Black Flag, and I'm actually somewhat interested now in this new one given the setting.

Have the games since Black Flag become more stand alone, and less heavy handed on the "Real World" story shit, or is this game likely going to be the fifth episode in a six episode saga or what have you, where I'm going to be missing a shit ton of context and the emphasis is going to be on whatever the hell is going on with Abstergo or whomever the bad guys are now.

Obviously I know we know next to nothing about the next game, but I'm curious if, going by the previous entries, this is something a casual player can jump into and enjoy without having to have been invested in every game that came before it.

I'd say each game has about an hour, maybe two, of modern day stuff.

WITH THE EXCEPTION OF Odyssey DLC, since it's framed a lot more heavily around it.

Essentially, with Valhalla (maybe Mirage, I haven't tried it) the modern stuff is getting more directly intertwined.

"CE isn't a real place" must refer to the places he's able to visit in the future.

Imagine being that upset over skin color.

Though I will admit, "What if the black man was a woman instead?" is not a level of cope I see every day.

Can't help but notice that TC hasn't posted again since the sixth post of the topic. I wonder what that could possibly mean.

TC managed to avoid it because they were too much of a coward to do anything beyond posting this topic, itself, and then immediately disappearing.

im actually on board with the direction they're taking in terms of setting and characters.

but knowing Ubisoft, its gonna be another boring open world slop fest in terms of gameplay. that is by far my biggest concern here!

hope they make a good story out of this at least cause it sure has potential on that front!
