So yeah I saved Kirby just in case Chang isn't and scum wanted to try to kill Kirby off just to stop him from confirming people. There CANNOT be 5 scum. 5 scum with 2 EKs would make this the most imbalanced game in B8 history.

But yeah scum really got screwed by Knightz having such a powerful role and throwing it away.

Also I just remembered something. Sultan had an Indy role in that FOL place in one of the games she played there that automatically won the game no matter what if he made it to final 4 alive.

I'm not sure if there's precedence for that kind of role here, but it is something that would work alongside Ben.

yeah, hell if I know. That means either Kirby was the NK target, or I was the NK target, or there was another deliberate NoKill, but if you hadn't saved Kirby and he died then we would have had a false clear on chang based on our assumption that he was supposed to be Jailed.

I really don't think we can lose now that I won the bet so I might as well go ahead.

One option is that I kill scum, that's pretty simple. Likely ends the game too.

I mean, aside from my one blip night 5 (Scum having two EKs is still wtf and I regret nothing, figured he might get shot before he could fire his own shot), all I've really done this entire game is make the objectively obvious save.

I saved Ulti 3 times despite not trusting he was town at all.

If I kill myself, the the person I tried to kill is 100% town. Not 3rd party or anything, 100% town, otherwise I would not die.

It's important that you know this because it isn't important from my flip, it only states that a gambler vig shot exists, not how it works in detail, I had to get thar specified.

Anyway, let's say I shoot chang, if I die instead of him you now know he is 100% town. If that happens, you lynch FD. If that doesn't end the game, you lynch Blade the next day.

This assumes Ulti and Kirby are 100% town of course, but if that is true we literally cannot lose.

And yes, I considered IGCD a high EV save on night 5. If one more kill were stopped his shot was practically free.

IGCD should've had the balls to shoot someone other than Death. Sacrificing himself to kill Kirby, kill me that night, and leaving innocent scanning Chang with just 1 more Ulti scan would've been his best EV play by a mile.

Shooting Death was so tame and generally unhelpful for scum I didn't think scum him would do it.

If I shoot and I die myself. It means I shot at town. So whoever I shot at is 100% confirmed town in the event that I die.

I'm guessing they gambled on a prediction that IGCD would draw protection and could have him shoot the jailed person without looking bad.

It had to be a deliberate no-kill, but that's such a gamble that igcd would be protected or that town would be jailed.

My theory is still that scum accidentally bus drove a save onto their kill. Chang's immediate reaction was to come out of nowhere to attack this theory.

Killing Death, killing Ben, and No Killing all seem like impossible decisions for the scumteam to have made.

Yeah I will aim for scum of course. But I just needed to make clear that the person I shoot is town confirmed if they survive and I die.

The order really doesn't matter. We win in any case. In this case, if Blade is town, you just lynch one of FD and Chang and if game doesn't end you lynch the other one tomorrow.

Like I could try to reread using IGCD's flip or whatever but I really don't see it making a big difference other than personal glory of hitting right.

The thought has crossed my mind as well, but it would have to be sort of a "I'm going to NK infinity times and STILL win the game to assert dominance" type of play on your part, and not because you were being dumb at mafia on accident.

Was kinda hoping Kirby would show up sooner.

Y'know what's funny though? The "Perfect Role Stealing Godfather intentionally no killing every day " nonsense applies to Kirby just as much as it applies to me, yet he always tunnels the argument onto me.
