I genuinely made this topic because I see this as a real issue. It wasnt to troll. I dont appreciate how I was repeatedly attacked, trolled, and my character was questioned yet Im the only one being modded here.

Hmm, I think maybe the problem if you definition of "defending" a user might be a little warped. My post did not say a single thing personally affirming to TC's claims or opinions in this topic. My post was entirely directed at it being a bullshit moderation that follows the exact themes of other bullshit moderations for other users I have seen in the past. So yes, I do constitute defending the fact that the moderation was bullshit and not actually commenting a single thing what this topic is actually about as a "little defending".

Oh, and of course the group of individuals who mass report.

I have frequently marked/tagged people that post borderline dumb shit. Transphobia, dumb right wing disinformation, etc. With about an 80% rate these people are suspended and put in purgatory.

Now you can believe like MEGA does, where people get dogpiled for "seemingly no reason", or you can take the more measured approach and realize that most people do just have shitty views and opinions. And when they defend them, because they're shit, they get moderated.

Some dude just a few days ago, some username with "chimps" in it somewhere, made one of the most blatantly gross topics and it got about 60 pages of people calling out his bad posting. He is now suspended.

These "dogpiling" accusations are almost unanimously garbage because the opinions that are being "dogpiled" are usually something to the effect of "Women are shit and trans people are bad!".
