that's what's keeping me from having faith in Xdefiant. literally every. single. piece. of content is something from the battle pass, or a $20 skin. it's nothing but an MTX front. i'm sure black ops will at least have challenges and camos and stuff

The only good thing is that it is coming to gamepass on day 1 and I assume it will stay permanently.

I'm still waiting on previous titles to be added.

If it goes on gamepass that'll be cool as heck

Never said it did make you better, I voiced my displeasure with scummy practices.

If the paid stuff is cosmetic only like it has been the past few games, then I think it's fine. As long as the core gameplay is fun and anything that actually affects the gameplay (weapons, maps, etc.) is free for everyone, they can include all of the battle passes and store bundles they want. I couldn't care less.

Yeah MW2 does look alright but it doesn't seem worth the money.

How is it scummy? All the actual content (5-6 seasons worth of maps, weapons and game modes) are offered for free (as opposed to $15/each back in the day)

Locking shit behind the battle pass is scummy especially towards kids who think they need the latest special skin or background

But the latest skin is just a skin. No one needs it. Just because "kids want it" doesn't mean it should be free.
