I somehow think of that as more artery-clogging than bacon.

Too heavy that early in the day for me. If I was going to have Biscuits and Gravy, I'd do it for dinner with a couple eggs.

If they're buttermilk biscuits, sure.

I love how different cultures have different meanings for certain words.

Aussie biscuits and gravy would be quite disgusting......also the thought of scones with gravy is equally gross.

It's mid, same texture all the way through and the only way to make it better is to make it saltier or spicier.

On topic,no. Waffles, pancakes, omelets, etc. There are about 19 other breakfast food that shit on it.

I prefer chicken-fried steak, but biscuits and gravy is a close runner-up.

Strong confirm. It's the GOAT but yeah, eat it and you might as well just go back to bed afterwards.

If I want something heavy, I'll go with steak and eggs, but I'm not usually into that sort of thing unless I'm on the mend from being sick and haven't eaten well in a while.

I'm not too picky on biscuits and gravy, but once i had some real good ones, i then started to want them more and more.

More people need to give them a shot, especially as a hearty breakfast. I really like when the gravy is chunky with sausage crumble, it really makes the breakfast stand on its own.

Other breakfast foods are better then biscuits and gravy.

Never tried biscuits and gravy. I'm told they are a lot nicer than they look.

I do like a fry up, but favourite would be those thin breakfast crepes with orange juice and sugar.

I had beans on toast using American pork and beans, and apparently despite them being a bit sweeter than British pork and beans, it was still very good. Gravy biscuits are freaking delicious by the way.

Its really good but I cant say the best. I havent had it in a while tbh

I read a book about wine that made the argument that having "taste" was simply the quality of having had enough experience trying different things to be able to articulately say what you like and don't like.

But I think my favorite breakfast is a western omelette (no cheese, add bacon) and some fried potatoes with waffles and sausage, and a biscuit on the side.

Honestly, messy foods usually taste the best, whether it's ribs or wings covered in sauce or a cake that has frosting all over it.

Americans understand a lot. We're not all ignorant. In my case I watch a ton of British TV. So I understand that yalls biscuits are not the same as ours. Your potato chips are crisps, your French fries are chips, your cakes are puddings. It's cultural difference.

Deny, as I dont want it for breakfast. We do it regularly for supper, and its great. But for breakfast (which is in the afternoon for me as I do intermittent fasting), Id rather have eggs, bacon, and toast.
