https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=watavVjyLy4 his dumbass point is that God doesn't see us as individuals, but as families. Apparently giving everyone a vote leads to division within a household. Which, presumably, God doesn't like? So we should make it a... Family vote. Women will get their voice heard through their husband, or if unmarried their father or their brother. Honestly the first comment just hit it on the head. Im sitting here wondering how everyone in a house having a choice could divide a household then it dawned on me, abusers cant stand that shit. Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. There is absolutely no point the new testament says that the law of the torah is to be abolished. And specifically relating to the role of women, the new testament frequently reiterates that men are to be heads of household and women are to be subservient to them.
