Apparently the strike relief was almost entirely because of Pete, they even directly thank him in both their statement.

It occurs to me that nobody actually defined what a world war is so here we go for future reference:

Plus would Russia really risk nuclear armageddon for Iran? They are allies of convenience not formal allies, and sometimes even oppose each other. I mentioned Sudan earlier, they were backing different sides in that conflict which is why Ukraine wound up backing the same side as Iran. If Iran got involved in this conflict directly and the US committed troops which is already unlikely, it is extremely unlikely that Russia then intervenes more than provision of support. Everybody benefits much more from the same proxy war as always.

Having said that, history is full of wars that basically escalated despite nobody really wanting them too so we must always be vigilant. Just saying its an unlikely scenario,

You joke and I might be tempting fate, but I was CONSIDERABLY more anxious about Trump winning the 2016 election than now (not that there's no anxiety about now mind) because I was used to the idea of turning over to the party that didn't just have two terms in control. Admittedly that's more of a me thing because I was born during Clinton's first term and thus grew up with two terms of him followed by two of Bush followed by two of Obama.

WTF is up with America now? Uh kudos to Trump for sniffing out an opportunity in the political power vacuum I guess.

Trump's response to the jobs reports is that the report IS real, but that all 250k jobs went to illegal immigrants.

Trump's campaign stop today in GA was less than 10 minutes. He Took a few questions, admitted for the first time unprompted that he did indeed lose Georgia in 2020 (???), and walked away.

It undoubtedly took longer to setup this stupid backdrop than he spent speaking.

My guess is the presence of Brian Kemp made him want to get out fast. Trump didn't comment on Helene at all up there, so Kemp may have told him ahead of time he would call him out if he tried to lie about it.

It was revised UP from the announced numbers over the last 2 months.

Cant tell Lopen that, from his perspective they are lying for the purpose of crashing the economy and causing a global recession for the purposes of I don't know where he goes from here.
