I own it. Couldn't get into. But it definitely felt like it was going to be a great game. So I always recommend it.

Early parts reminded me of 3D Zelda a bit.

Yeah, that's a great game. Beaten it twice on two different systems (one of those 100%), it's pretty gosh darn good IMO.

I'm one of the odd ones out that doesn't get it - I've tried playing a few times over the years and have only gotten as far as clearing Hana Valley :\ I just don't find the combat that interesting, and the dialogue is slooooow. The art is gorgeous and I really want to like it more than I do, but I just have really felt like I've had to force myself through it.

Always in my top 10 list. Was actually just thinking of starting a playthrough last night.

well, actually the last chapter (everything in the north) is an "ok" game, but you're still getting 3 other games worth of S+ game plus one A+.

I see it as an objectively good game I could personally never get into.

The intro just sucks and voice acting is too obnoxious for the amount of it it expects me to sit through.

I've tried playing about three times over the years since it launched, I could never get more than a few hours in before getting sick of it.

I thought it was solid, nothing amazing but certainly worth playing.

A phenomenal game. But I may be biased towards it, it became my all time favorite game the first time I beat it back on the Wii. I give it my highest recommendation.

Game is much longer than it should be. But its great. Couldve cut that run time down by like 6 hours or so and lost nothing of absolutely necessity.

Like that long ass unskippable to this day intro for one.

Great game! I agree it does drag on but still a lot of fun. It's a shame the studio dissolved, would have loved to see a sequel. I still have the big art book

Didn't play it, but Okami did appear in Sonic the Hedgehog/Mega Man Worlds Unite.

Game makes you feel that you are getting immersed in Japanese culture.

And it is a good game.

First third great but... hard to keep me interested the full runtime.

The start is a slog. Get passed that and it's a fantastic game

Pretty much agreed with what everyone said, I thought it was over and would have been fine, but then it revealed that there was more and the game literally opens up! My jaw dropped back then. Was so excited. Spent so many hours in that game, you really get your money's worth.

If this were a modern game, cough square enix garbage cough, they would split that up into 3 games with DLC and charge gamers through the roof, and dumb gamers would happily buy. Meanwhile clover studios made this awesome game and shut down. Perhaps gamers do deserve to be constantly screwed in this industry.
