50 topics is entirely too much information overload for me and my autistic brain (mods yes I AM actually autistic, I don't know why I feel like I need to clarify that but whatever). I DO use 50 posts per page but that's because you're gonna read them in order anyway, at least if you wanna make sense of the thread. It saves time because you don't have to load as many pages of posts. With topics, if I'm presented with 50 on one page, I'm gonna have trouble deciding which one I want to enter.

in case you haven't noticed, this election is probably the most consequential election that has ever happened in our lifetimes. if Trump weasels his way back into office, the USA as the world has known it for 250 is gone, and that is going to have downstream effects the whole world over because of the country's standing on the world stage. this isn't a joke.
