If there's one silver lining to my day, prop 1 passed easily in New York, despite a significant conservative campaign to blatantly lie about everything it stood for. They may as well have tried to say prop 1 was directly supporting terrorism.

Prop 1 is a very important for the protection of various civil liberties that have come increasingly under fire in the state in recent years.

Was it looking this bad at this time in the 2020 election, too?

AOC can absolutely win. once the country goes to shit in 4 years, everyone will hate the Republicans again. It's a pendulum. AOC will crush Vance or Trump 3.0 or whoever they decide to run.

I think there's a high chance the Republicans attempt to remove or restructure the constitutional amendment that says a President can only hold two terms in an attempt to establish his position.

They cant legally do this. It would require ratification by 3/4 of the states. Trump tipping his hand entirely and just up and suspending elections is actually more likely.

I told my father even if he has Georgia and north carolina and pa sewed up they will pick one not to announce purposely just for ratings.

He was doom and grooming at 9pm and I told him he shouldn't be cuz there is no mail in votes to change stuff this time and that those bubbles on CNN are deceiving.

I don't know, but Trump plus nonvoters will be a majority of the electorate. So there's definitely a good argument that a majority of Americans aren't really opposed to another Trump presidency, at least. That's practically the same as wanting it.

The polls only had him down 1 point on the popular vote. So it's certainly possible. I think it's likely at this point given how much he is overperforming polls in a lot of places, including a big +6 in Florida.

Harris' campaign wasn't perfect, but it was very solid. The blame for this vastly lies with the voters.
