Whenever I asked how do you justify the anti-trans stuff from the right?, its always them not taking that seriously or literally just shrugging it off. It frustrating. I know some progressives, gay people, and otherwise liberal thinking people voting for Trump for one reason or another. The trans and gay friends/acquaintances that are almost all for Trump are middle-aged. (A gay guy I grew up with is hardcore right wing, for example). What I noticed, its low information and/or red pilled by various YouTube right wing grifters. I try not to judge to hard, because people got their reasons, justified or not, but again, its frustrating listening to people who just dont get how wrong they are. --- Cape Cod made. The wall is a great example - they claim that Trump never built a wall, it was just another lie. The reality is, the government DID fund wall construction. They wasted tons of money on "updating" sections with less reliable walls, building walls over floodplains that need to be open throughout the year or they'll get washed away, and generally damaging the environment for what amounted to a vanity project. Trump has actually said more positive things about trans people through his defense of one of the Miss Universe contestants than Harris publicly has. Lack of education is a contributing factor, but seriously you can look up all the information you need to know about the candidate and party your voting. There are tons of information on the Internet, if you can aside a fraction of your time to look up the info. I'm not the smartest person either, and I don't know a whole lot about how the world works, and I spend way to much time playing video games and consuming entertainment. Yet I can at least do the bare minimum of watching some political shows like Last Week Tonight, and do some research here and there, and check on the message boards to stay inform and not fall into the "leopards eating faces" category. But I guess some people are going to continue to choose to be this stupid, until they're harmed greatly or worse.
