Doug Burgum is expected to help Trump open public lands to greater drilling, despite opposition from Indigenous groups and environmental advocates. Oh, it's worse than you think. Burgum has close ties to the illegal settler movement in West Bank. Surprise surprise! Now he has been recruited by Trump to take land rights away from indigenous Americans.

On top of Hegseth's desire/demand to purge the military of "wokeness" (including a ban on female enlistment), his hate/crusader tatts, and calling the Jan 6 insurrectionists "brave patriots," he's also been accused of sexual assault.
He'll be in great company with Trump and Gaetz.

RFK Jr, DeSantis, and others are pressuring Trump to nominate the guy who suppressed COVID statistics for Florida (going so far as to fire emloyees who compiled the accurate statistics) as our surgeon general. Joseph Lapado is his name, just in case you were interesred in doing research yourself.

We are so fucked with these people. Thank you so much non voters who didn't think Harris did enough to "earn your vote".

Most of the time the presidents cabinet picks don't really cause drama, because half the time it seems like it's a boring industry expert with political experience. Or so it seems to me.

When Linda McMahon was announced I looked up who Biden's education secretary is and it's Miguel Cardona, a former 4th grade teacher who at age 27 was appointed SCHOOL PRINCIPAL

I don't need to read any further to know he was probably a solid pick, and if we haven't heard from him since, it's because most of government just quietly does their jobs in the background.

So all I can say is, when the actual voting happens, sit back and watch the infighting. Not hard to predict that for the more depraved picks(Gaetz, McMahon, Kennedy) all Democrats vote no, and the republicans rip eachother to shreds.

You got what you voted for, or failed to vote for.

Incidentally, every half assed comment I made on the matter of israel here was basically being blasted as some pro-israel "pro trump" goon. Oh, what, I bring up the whole ban on 2000lb bombs? Mass insults. I bring up the fact that Trump was worse for Palastein last time he had office? Mass insults. I merely bring up that "oh, hey, no matter who is in charge, you have to do something when some outsiders launch a bunch of rockets against you"? EVEN WORSE INSULTS.

I never liked Trump. And never said any such thing. You got tricked. Leopard, eat GameFAQs face.

I am done with trying to have empathy for those with different views. They won. So now its just a matter of survival. I choose "sit at the lap of the leopard and amuse myself till there is no other food left."

You had all the warnings. I had empathy. Now, it is almost gone, with what remains only restricted to those that actually tried to stop it.

If you happen to know people in swing states who chose not to vote for Kamala despite having the power to do so, always remind them of their inaction.

I can attest that the DOE through Biden's term has:
A. Streamlined major policies and programs,
B. Fixed Public Service Loan Forgiveness immensely
