From what happened and atleast my view of it:

* Coffee came out as trans.
* I was cool and supported them.
* Coffee then eventually came out saying they were no longer trans.
* I told them that I hoped them the best and that they were doing this because they wanted to not-transition.
Eventually, a lot of people jumped on me claiming I was being hateful of them because they figured out they were not trans (Like oh, just let them have this moment, they figured themself out!), to the point my post was docked and I was warned because of it when I was actually being genuine and hoping they weren't being forced to back out.

The board's backlash on me with this caused me to quit coming here for a year. I was pretty pissed that it was being taken as it was. No one was listening to me and I was genuinely concerned it was a family or some sort of forced undoing of one's self.

Now, I just congratulate people coming out and not get involved anymore. It's everyone's own fight and I care no more.

Well, it's more annoying when I am trying to reach out to them on the public forum to assure that this WAS their choice. Later I find out that the account was a fake or something when I returned and it was like 'well, that figures'.

Either way, I try to be as real as I can be. I know I have a pretty sullied reputation on here with a number of people but I actually care about the safety of others. Especially in a hyper-trans-hateful world.... But fuck me for that.

I'm trans myself and even I'm not convinced yet that tc is sincere. It's not out of the question, but I need to see more.

Unless new things happened, I was under the impression that coffee was a trans man. Started as a lesbian (and a butch one at that) who eventually came out as trans male, then eventually walked that back with posts about their girlfriend/wife being happy because she could get coffee to dress girlier or something.

I dunno. I stopped really caring after all of that and didn't see anything that happened with that account the last year now.

She's in one of the CE Discords now. I've seen her post plenty about her struggles in much the same way she posted on CE.

I guess to the whole thing, I guess I just don't care anymore. It sucks to have struggles and I wish her the best of course. But I feel like any time I get involved with trans drama on here, it just spills. I think from here on with people 'coming out', I'll just say 'congrats' and go. Way back when, I liked being a catalyst for baby trans people but it's like a soap opera and I am not down for it anymore.

I don't think anything was true

Just to say something good about DarkRoast, she helped me a lot in my decision to come out. She helped me gather my thoughts and realize I was trans all along. Her being 5 years older then me and still looking amazing after transition also helped me because it means I might look just as good after my transition as well.

Congratulations, TC! While Im not trans myself, I have several friends that are and I do my best to support them since theyre some of the best people Ive ever had the good fortune to have met.

Let's be honest. 'Erica Don't' isn't going to chime off like the old meme.

I share the skepticism that's already been mentioned in this topic a few times. This very well could be an elaborate trolling attempt, or it could be true but you're still just as bad a person as you were in the past. I hope that's not the case though. People can change for the better. If you really mean this, and you've also become a better person now than you were before, then I wish you the best in your future.

Truth is she's actually a trans woman, just got bottom surgery a few days ago. Was married to a woman before she came out but that relationship has since fallen apart on top of having ruined her relationship with her parents.

The lies she told was predominantly just an outlet of a desire to be seen as a woman and it's not like she hurt anyone so who cares really?
