they all have no idea what all I'm going for in the summer but they watched my existential crisis happen going to pity for Morgan so lmao

I guess it actually makes sense to go for Draco

Tiamat and Draco are such quartz traps, especially when I really want Scathach at the same time. If I end up destroying my reserves and can't roll for Summer Morgan I'll be so upset.

Is there any reason to get Scathach when I have a really strong Cu Lancer? Other than the two most important reasons lol

I never use mine... Enkidu is a lot more useful.

I don't really like Enkidu at all tbh. Would only summon for him so Gil has his bestie at Chaldea.

Enkidu's interludes are some of the best in the game

What utility do Tiamat and Draco have. I should pick one or the other if I'm gonna roll, I'm not wasting my quartz on both.

By all accounts it seems like Draco may be one of the best units in the game, maybe THE best arts servant in the game. Tiamat has a better story with Chaldea, but other than "mom" there's nothing really jaw dropping.

And I want at least NP2 Caster Morgan.

I don't really need AoE Buster or ST Arts... but I legitimately don't have any ST Arts NPs right now. I guess in that regard I could wait for Zerker Castoria but I don't wanna be rolling for her and Morgan at the same time I know how this game and its luck works smh

Draco is one of the better ST Arts units in the game, but Berserker Castoria is arguably the best ST Arts unit in the game so there's that. (And a sufficiently swole Vlad III or Kriemhild fills this role nearly as well themselves)

Tiamat is a Buster looper who is unfortunately in a not-great class for that at the highest levels of content with Alter Ego. She's still really good AFAIK, it's just at the highest levels of meta your class matters because of things like the hidden damage mods and such. And Alter Ego in particular only has half advantage on the Cavalry classes with only full class advantage vs Berserker and Foreigner.

This triggered the thought of "do I really need Draco if I'm going to pull for Zerktoria anyway?" which immediately killed any thoughts of saving for me.

Anyway, ~29 multis ended up turning into NP2 Kuku, NP2 Tez, NP5 Tlaloc+4 rare prisms, an extra NP level for Astraea, Hephaestion (both very nice, both NP3), and Tamamo Cat, and new copies of Caster Gil, Ibaraki Douji, Fionn mac Cumhaill, Wantanabe-no-Tsuna. I now have ~15 SQ and no tickets.

It was looking super dicey when my first ~21 multis got me nothing but 4 stars, but the good pulls ended up being very, very backloaded. The lesson, clearly, is to never stop pulling. Now to save until summer (this time I save for sure.)

I only threw 2 multis at Kuku. I'd planned to save up more since I'd heard about how good she was, but that damn Melt banner called to me. That girl lives so rent-free in my head, I've started to name my RPG characters "Albrecht."

I'm glad I didn't get destroyed by Melt like that, but there's no shame in it. She's so fantastic, and I think she got a buff recently? Or there's one coming up for her. I just feel like you need her to at least NP2 and I knew I wasn't getting that.

Also excellent stuff on the Kuku banner, Ark. Those are some solid pulls. I don't know how you had the guts to split 'em on her and Tez like that, I would've been way too scared.

I think Draco is just way cooler looking than Zerktoria and it'll give me a chance to re-save for Caster Morgan if I get her. Zerktoria and Caster Morgan are too close together and I risk whiffing on one or both tbh

Just fought and defeated Barghest in the Welsh woods. This is getting so good now, but I feel like I'm moving through the story faster than anticipated. I don't ever want this shit to end!

I used the support Oberon even though I have my own. I've been trying not to use my own copies of the LB6 servants.

This story is so unbelievably peak. I wasn't sure about stalling things to go do the Faerie ball in Gloucester but it's managed to push things forward.

Oberon's mask is starting to slip and we're the only ones who are noticing it (though I'd be Da Vinci has him figured out too by this point).

I got Mash back. I felt like they should've made that a bigger deal narratively, I was prepared for a bigger moment. And they followed it up with the chocolate side show in Edinburgh.

It's awful as a newer player, though. Going to be feeling it hard with LB7 after pulling it earlier, too (what do you mean Tez is going to need 252 obsidian edges???)

I get it for the Faeries and their skills/ascensions, but why are the likes of Mordred/Caligula/Marie Alter needing them???

I've been powering through it today. I'm about to fight Morgan. This fight seems like it could be a real test.

Thinking I'm gonna use story Castoria and my own Waver along with Kama. Herc is back line always. I'm not sure about the other spots.

Bond CE Herc is the most broken thing in this game I stg.

I should've picked Mash instead of Da Vinci for the 2nd support char. Lord Camelot does WORK in boss fights.

Yeah it was. Castoria saw it coming too, when she was like "wait did you already send the Fang clan to Murian???"

Anyway, part two finished. Poor Woodwose. Poor Morgan. Poor Baobahn Sith. It's all falling apart and I feel terrible about it instead of happy I won. I know now that this is the part where all hell truly breaks loose.

Also is that triple Morgan fight even beatable? I tried to brute strength my way through using double Arcueid and I got all of them down to red but I was cooked by that point. There's just nothing you can do against Roadless Camelot spam lol

I'm sure some madman has done it, but it is completely unreasonable for anyone remotely "normal".

It's not even the NP spam from her, it's the constant buff strip

No. Part of the final break bar suite of buffs she gives herself is Permanent Unremovable Guts. So she's just immortal.

A+++ boss theme though, still perhaps my favorite in all of FGO.

I also love that Morgan just straight up beat us. It took her own subjects all turning on her at once with several treason plots culminating at the same time or else we stood zero chance. She's straight up broken.

I do wonder that without the perfect storm of Castoria and Chaldea showing up to give the traitorous faeries the push they needed to rebel, would Morgan have not just lasted forever?

Also there was a fun discussion on the FGO subreddit where this dude was basically calling Morgan a heartless bitch and the rest of us were telling him how the faeries absolutely needed a figure like her in order to not kill themselves due to their own destructively stupid nature. I wanted to chime in more but I hadn't read it yet. Glad I can now defend her majesty with all the tools needed.

She's so great I went from 102-104 for her this week.

She's both. She's a cruel, heartless ruler, and that's the only reason she could keep these faeries in line. Cruelty is the language they speak. That's why Baobhan's kindness in all her previous incarnations got her killed horribly. It says a lot that, of the current faeries, Woodwose was probably the MOST honorable and kind - Barghest notwithstanding because she's an anomaly by design. The moment Morgan showed vulnerability and a shred of warmth or kindness (toward Baobhan), it was her undoing.

I have more to say on this topic, but it needs to wait until you've finished the story.

I'm just disgusted with these faeries. Cnoc Na Riabh didn't even get a chance. Of all the places we've been to and had to delete from existence, this one's the worst. I've loved every minute of my time in Faerie Britain but the people in it are disgusting sickos.

It is very very well written. Every other place we've been to, the population still seemed so human. These faeries are like aliens who tried to take on human-like attributes. They're so so so different and awful. I agree with Castoria. "You gave all of this to save this AWFUL Britain?"

I think it comes down to whether or not you think Morgan could have beaten Cernunnos. When Castoria uses Morgan's Throne to deploy her countermeasure it fails to take it down... but Castoria is explicitly mentioned to be unable to use it as well as Morgan was on account of Morgan just being a genius.

If Morgan loses that fight then Fairy Britain is done for still. If she wins... idk maybe? I feel like it's still implied that Fairy Britain will keep sending Calamities in perpetuity so you figure Morgan has to lose once at some point.

But as for the players on the stage in LB6 pretty sure Oberon explicitly says that had it not been for Chaldea showing up he had zero chance at taking down Morgan.

Its amusing how effectively Nasu managed to push the "all faeries are awful" narrative but then also be like "except these ones" to EVERY playable one from LB6 (Sith being sort of an exception with an excuse).

And yet it doesn't feel that cheap to me, just a "lol thats kinda funny"

I'm obviously number one Morgan stan so I think Morgan just goes "Nah, I'd win" and does her thing over and over.

Grimr saying "You're not all that close with Habetrot anyway" and Mash saying "I guess you're right" is one of the most subtly heartbreaking things I've ever read. Jesus.
