If the judge in that case had any cojones, they would have stripped PETA of their license to operate all shelters in the state of Virginia instead of fining them only $500.

Thats why you prepare it as a side and call it dressing. Most people dont actually do stuffing anymore though a lot of people use stuffing/dressing interchangeably.

misleading at best. i know you guys like to demonize PETA because they make you feel uncomfortable, but let's at least make honest criticisms. this is not one of them.

By taking in those 99% of other shelters refuse to and so many others either mistreating animals or not getting them spayed etc it means there are far too many and not enough money or space to care for them. They kill them due to no other choice as otherwise it means another animal left to be abused or as a potentially dangerous stray.

Peta still sucks but operating 'kill shelters' isn't why.

While I don't feel like going into a full debate about what commonly thought things about PETA are true and false, I do think it's worth pointing out that much of the popular narrative about them has been shaped by an astroturfing campaign run by the same organization that defended smoking.
