But I only played a bit of Blue as I had it emulated. I liked WD as a translation group, but man they had some nutty ideas about how to "increase difficulty" for western fans. It wasn't too bad in Silver Star Story, but Eternal Blue really suffered under their changes. I played through it fully once; I've tried to replay it a couple different times and every time I lose interest right around the White Dragon Cave, because the amount of grinding needed to progress just gets absurd. --- Kill 1 man: You are a murderer. I went to the video game store in the mall and just browsed. This was before I had Internet and being in the military and gone so much it was difficult to keep up with what was releasing/new. So this was at a time where it was completely normal to just go to the store and browse games and select them blindly on box art and the few screen captures/description on the back of the box. On a blind purchase that day I bought Legend of Legaia PS1 that had been out like 2 months and Lunar Silver Star Story Complete on PS1 that had come out like the day before. This was right at the end of May. Two of the best blind purchases Ive ever had. That Lunar game came with like 4 discs too, and amazing real bound instruction book and a cloth map. Hell of a package and it was like normal PS1 price. Then later that fall Suikoden II came out which I was waiting on. What a great year.
