I've been going to the library every day. They're asking about my check, I told them there was a system error and I couldn't get one just to buy some time.

The problem is that one of the guys I met at the library found out I'm starting to get into retro game collecting and gave me a ps3 and some games and my parents think I spent all my money on that.

I need to find a very fast way to come up with a few hundred dollars and also print a fake pay stub. How best can I do this?

But the real answer is some combination of
  1. Actually do get a job and/or
  2. Admit to your parents you don't have one
The longer this goes on the more mess it will become

This sounds like something you'd see on a sitcom.

You can come up with money by actually getting a job. Then you won't have to worry about getting a fake pay stub.

Unless you were in eminent danger or being literally harassed im at a loss for what would make you "have" to leave a job you just got a few hours ago.

In any case sell the ps3 for a couple bucks and go from there.

If you can't get hired and don't want to come clean, next best course of action would be to legitmately find some local volunteer work to do. It'll soften the blow to tell your parents you were feeling self-conscious about not having a "legit" job or something once they inevitably find out. Could also just ask around for a job at the library since you're already stalling there, something simple like janitorial work. Alternatively, directly tell the truth; the sooner the better.

Oh, that's right. I forgot, they told him 26 was too old to sleep in their bed with them anymore.

Though I'm more worried that he grew from 26 years old in 2023 to late 30s now. That doesn't seem normal.
