I commented about this brony livestream where they were watching a classic Superman movie where he went to the moon, and everyone in chat was like "Where's Luna?" I still believe unicorn Twilight x season one Luna is a cute ship. Kinda wish S1 Luna made a reappearance at least once. She's really cute. And I randomly remembered that I was feeling kinda queasy on New Years Eve of 2012, which I attributed to a combination of fried chicken and the detailed environments of Far Cry 3. MegamanXfan21xx 01/29/25 3:12:28 PM #20:	Decided to get the game Save Room since it was on sale for $2. It's a game that consists entirely of the grid-based inventory management seen in Resident Evil 4, with the goal being to fit everything in your case. You can make room by loading ammo into guns, mixing together ingredients into a single item, and consuming health items if you're damaged. There's different potencies of health items that appear, so you have to use them in the right order. If you're at full health, you can't use any more, so you have to save the full restores for last. Every gun has to have some ammo in it for the level to be considered complete, so if you have multiple that take the same ammo type, you have to load the one with the smaller capacity first so you have some left over for the other one. You can examine the guns to see their capacities. Unfortunately, there's one major flaw. It doesn't have a level select, and continuing after beating the final level just has you repeat the final level, so wiping your save data is the only way to replay old levels. Thankfully it's really short. I know about Pinhead and that puzzle cube from cultural osmosis, but that's about it. Reminds me that when the weather gets nice, I'm gonna go for another visit to that game store about a mile from me. They had stuff from every generation. They also had some game behind the counter that I assume was super rare, because it cost $900 and required an ID showing that you were at least 21. Like, which character should I put this immunity accessory on? What helpful items am I missing by not exploring super thoroughly? What's the best level-up bonus I should be picking for each character? If a boss favors a particular status ailment, and I forgot to equip the immunity item, am I just hosed? I guess I could turn things down to story difficulty, but that feels disrespectful, given how influential the original was. That's my absolute favorite kind of animation, so I'll be keeping an eye on that. - Darwin's Paradox: A cartoony cinematic platformer with a goofy-looking octopus as the main character. Definitely reminds me of similar games we got fairly frequently back in the early PS360 days. - Abiotic Factor: A survival game that's essentially Half Life 1, but you play as the hapless nerd scientists trying to survive the invasion. - MindsEye: Looks like a sci-fi open world/military shooter game with a plot involving memory-scrambling neural implants. But what's really interesting is that it's directed by Leslie Benzies, the former head of Rockstar who left a few years after GTAV. The main character is also the same guy who voiced Lincoln Clay from Mafia III, and that's a game where the voice acting and writing made up for its gameplay shortcomings. - Dreams of Another: An artsy third-person shooter with an interesting style where everything is made up of particle effects.
