Leftists, tell us what you think of Harris and the Democratic party? Can you do so without tearing them down?
I think the evidence points to Harris running a modestly effective campaign that was unfortunately always facing an uphill battle. The Biden administration was the best admin on domestic policy since at least LBJ, and I think there's a lot worth celebrating in the IRA and the NLRB he shaped in particular. But he was ineffective as a messenger for that agenda owing to what I will politely call his struggles in impromptu settings.

They're better than the Republicans. Also, every faction that aren't the establishment Dems have the potential to be better.

I would also note, in direct response to the topic title: there is almost certainly overlap between the protests organized on behalf of Gaza last year and the protests taking place against ICE and Trump's immigration policies this past week:

Progressives are part of Democrats messaging, especially in a presidential election season, and people like you were abysmal to have as part of it.

Progressives are part of democrat's messaging, despite democrats making clear that progressives aren't a part of their platform? How come progressives are expected to let democrats have their cake and eat it while getting next to no policy concessions of their own?

Because the only other option is fascism. Until that changes, we're stuck.

Then it would never change, as establishment Dems would block progress to stay in power and preserve the status quo. They did it this election.

Yeah exactly. The change we want isn't going to come from electoral politics.

So when is the revolution going to save us all from fascism?

It isn't, the left never gained enough traction to build any kind of power. Also, revolution is only really worthwhile if there's an infrastructure for what comes after. Something else the Left failed to build.

Is this saying that only a couple dozen protestors dying means that it's not violent? And that a genocide is not an actual catastrophe?

If you ask me, all this talk about revolution just feels like some kind of power fantasy for them to indulge in.

Tonight in NYC, groups that were protesting the genocide in Gaza are protesting a hospital that has ceased providing gender care for trans youth:
