America and Russia have reportedly agreed on a way to end the war involving Ukraine giving up the Donbass, Crimea and permanently dissolving it's army. Putin has promised not to take any more territory. Ukraine has not been consulted on this at all but Trump is prepared to sign it on their behalf.

Not only that, but Putin is also demanding that the international community officially recognize that the territories now belong to Rssia.

I imagine that all sanctions would be lifted too.

Not going to happen.
Any promise Putin makes on not taking more Ukrainian territory is a promise he willl break, because if he gets his way (which is improbable) by having the Ukrainian army is dissolved, there will be nothing stopping him from starting a new invasion.
Furthermore, Zelensky said this:

"Ukrainians defend what's theirs. Of course, we will not reward Russia for what it has perpetrated. The answer to the Ukrainian territorial question already is in the Constitution of Ukraine. Ukrainians will not gift their land to the occupier. Any decisions against us, any decisions without Ukraine, are simultaneously decisions against peace. They will bring nothing. These are dead decisions; they will never work."

So once again trump is trying to aplease Putin for no gain?

That seems to be Putins plan. "Wait for us to recover than we can take the rest of your country."

I wonder how much Russia even can recover. Their Soviet era stockpile is gone forever and they had a collapsing demographic before the war started. Who knows how much worse it'll be in five years time.

So Russia came in, got their asses kicked. And the solution they want is for Ukraine to just give Russia the land, and to get rid of all the stuff kicking Russias ass.

It should be self-evident that begging for one is disqualifying. No one has ever begged like Trump has. Even among those who sought the prize and have been awarded it, they had tact and soft power.

Russia certainly got its ass kicked in the war, but its also holding a big chunk of Ukraine territory. Any agreement that lets Rssia keep this stolen land cant be accepted.

Yeah, the media was gushing about how Putin's army was taking back land at a rapid rate but all I saw was a potential massacre when Ukraine outflanked them.

Zelensky has said (and I have no doubt it's somewhat accurate) that Russia is loosing about 3 soldiers for every Ukrainian soldier. Why not just stay the course and play a defensive war while Russia continues to destroy their economy?

A Ukrainian drone strike on a Russian LOC lead to a lot of their stuff and guys being blown up, and the aftermath was recorded on video and distributed. One of the injured, however, was a Russian general.
