It isn't even "maximum realism." It's "maximum horny." Most of the pictures suck in part because the people who trained the data don't give a crap about anything other than the horny parts of the image. Hence why things like fingers and eyes have never really been accurate, and even when they've gotten better they continue to be pretty flagrantly off.

This is what I think too. These days getting clicks/interactions is as easy as saying something that will get people upset, and with AI that can be done effortlessly.

I mean, if you completely define the rules of an argument as claiming most aspects that make it great don't count...then sure. I could also just put a blue filter over it and say that my new blue version is better because its more blue and other colors don't count in making an art style better. I remember one of my friends sent me a video of his, saying he thought I would like it, and my thought process was basically:

*Watches a video* - "Huh, interesting. I don't know much about this weapon - he's got some interesting perspective on it. This channel is promising!"

*Watches a second video* - "Uh... hmm. OK, well, I don't know much about this weapon either, but that's kind of an odd conclusion this guy reaches. I guess... I never thought about it that way? Well, learn something new every day."
